Tom, I did try what you suggested, and it isn't working. So I suspect it is a feature of a more recent version - which means I will likely need to upgrade to get it.
I will probably do that at some point in the not too distant future, but I need to do some preliminary work first (I need to upgrade Ubuntu first -since I am not set up to do builds of current versions of GnuCash on my system - which includes backups, and making sure of software compatibility with upgraded versions, etc). So I will work on that, and see what happens - unless someone else chimes in with an alternate suggestion). Thanks for the information.
