Tracy, FWIW, I am running GnuCash Flatpak 5.14 on Ubuntu 24.04 with 8 GB RAM because that GnuCash version is not available natively on that Ubuntu version. It seems to have a couple of the issues that are unique to Flatpak, including a tendency (in my case) to crash at inopportune times that I have not been able to find the root source of yet. I have release 5.5+ installed natively, but 5.14 has some significant improvements, to my eyes.
