OK.  I should have said I'm a new user.  Where do I set the date range and view setting (whatever that is)?  All I need to do is get a simple list of transactions from my check register to compare to my Quicken register.

You need to run an "Account Report" and print that.

Open the register. Set the date range and view setting that you want to
print, then go to Reports -> Account Report. That will bring up a
printable report of the account, and you can print that out like any other
report.

Enjoy!

GnuCash transaction register doesn't match my Quicken register so I need
to figure out what I've screwed up. I have GnuCash installed on Linux
Mint 22.3.  When I do CTRL-P on the register page it wants to print
checks.  I have not written a check in over 5 years except to the
federal government. When I do the page setup my printer is recognized.
What am I missing?
