That fixed that problem. Thank you all so very much. I will continue
to study the printing system of QC, but I have to say I think it is the
most user unfriendly software I have seen in years. Whatever happened
to CTRL-P?

View -> filter by and "unset" the date filtering parameters.
Note that views filters are per-account and not "saved" as such (although they
may persist a GC restart - not sure though)

I have found the problem in my transaction register by using Quicken,
lining up the Feb transactions on the screen and using CTRL-P to print
them. Now my problem is the screen for Assets/Share Drafts only shows
Feb instead of all year. I suspicion that is because in the process of
setting up a report in GC, I saved a filter. Where do I find that
filter so I can delete it?

You need to run an "Account Report" and print that.
Open the register. Set the date range and view setting that you want to
print, then go to Reports -> Account Report. That will bring up a
printable report of the account, and you can print that out like any other
report.
Enjoy!

GnuCash transaction register doesn't match my Quicken register so I need
to figure out what I've screwed up. I have GnuCash installed on Linux
Mint 22.3. When I do CTRL-P on the register page it wants to print
checks. I have not written a check in over 5 years except to the
federal government. When I do the page setup my printer is recognized.
What am I missing?
