I did see this problem with the original 5.16 version, but the 5.16-3 version fixed it. I’m on an M1 mac running Sequoia MacOS 15.7.7. The -3 label doesn’t show in the “About Gnucash” screen generated from within GnuCash, but it does in the Finder “Get Info” panel. Is it possible you’ve inadvertently launched the prior version?
