This was a big help. We ended up trying the Windows version of GNUCash
(the laptop in question dual-boots) and found the filtering options
there we needed.
I've since did an `apt-get source gnucash`, swapped out the 5.14 source
with the 5.16 source and did a `dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -b`, yielding
.deb packages for 5.16 on Ubuntu 26.04. I had to build with
DEB_BUILD_OPTS=nocheck because one of the tests failed (not sure why, my
hunch is one of Ubuntu's patches)… but it compiled and seems to run.
