Thank you everyone.
I tied changing the .bashrc file, but nothing changed; I guess I did
something wrong.
Instead I deleted the installed version, and re-installed it as flatpak.
Everything working fine now.
Thank you everyone

I am running gnucash for personal home accounts.
I am using Linux Mint 22.3
Today I tried to create a transaction report, and the link to go to
options did nothing. The mouse pointer did not even change shape.
I looked this up on the internet and found that I needed to run
gnucash from the terminal as follows for the report creation to work:
WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 gnucash
This did work but is obviously not the best scenario going forward.
Is there anything within gnucash to fix this? Is this a Linux thing
that needs to changed. Do I have to convert to flatpak?
Any help would be appreciated.
