Try checking F::Q without using GnuCash from PowerShell (Or DOS prompt?)

===

C:\Strawberry\perl\bin\perl.exe -MFinance::Quote -le 'print for Finance::Quote->new->sources'

===

it should give a list of quote sources.  For checking working with GnuCash see

11.3. Using gnucash-cli for Testing and Automation. <https://www.gnucash.org/docs/v5/C/gnucash-manual/fq-command-line.html>

I don't know how to fetch prices with F::Q. With GnuCash, I assume it's

For clarity, is F::Q now working and can fetch prices but GnuCash won't

Thank you Kalpesh, that worked. Can't imagine why it failed the first

Now I get the same error as in Linux, the one on the attached image. New
investigation.

Thank you all for your time and help.

You shouldn't need to install Strawberry Perl separately if you are using
the
'Install Online Price Retrieval for GnuCash' script available on Windows
with
the installation of GnuCash. Just type it in the Start menu --> Search
This is what I would suggest:
1 - Uninstall Strawberry Perl from the Control Panel --> Programs and
Features (if you don’t find it then no problem)
2 - Delete c:\Straberry directory including the base directory itself.
3 - Reboot the computer
4 - Install GnuCash as usual with a regular user (this goes for all here
--
run as a regular user and not as an admin)
5 - Reboot the computer
6 - Run 'Install Online Price Retrieval for GnuCash' as a regular user
7 - Verify the installation (this should return:
C:\Strawberry\perl\bin\perl.exe). Open up command prompt and type following
at
the prompt: where perl
8 - Verify F::Q installation (this should return: #.##). In the same
command
prompt as step 5. execute following: perl -MFinance::Quote -e "print
$Finance::Quote::VERSION"

As a side note which is *NOT* necessary for above steps: 'conf init
pushy_https' is a CPAN configuration command and needs to be run inside
CPAN
shell by invoking it as follows: perl -MCPAN -e shell
Running CPANM module is a bit simpler like this as it can be directly
executed at the command prompt: cpanm install Finance::Quote
HTH.

Hi Pedro

Can you check C:\Strawberry\perl\site\lib\Finance and confirm Quote folder
is
appearing. After you install online price retrieval. If you see the
folders,
then restart GNU Cash and fetch the prices
