Participants are taught three distinct methods to dissolve stress: Mind Sound Resonance; Cyclic Meditation; and Deep Relaxation. The various relaxation and distressing techniques learnt in the workshop become invaluable tools to deal with day-to-day stress. This workshop is also an introduction to the fundamentals of Yoga in its classical sense - a yoking of the individual to the supreme spirit - not just the mechanical practice of asanas. The workshop can also be the starting point to commit to a regular therapy schedule for those who suffer from chronic ailments such as Diabetes Mellitus; Hypertension; Bronchial Asthma; Back Problems; Gastro-Intestinal problems; Migraine and Tension Headaches; Anxiety Neurosis, Acidity, Ulcers, Irritable Bowel Syndrome etc. For participants with no specific ailments the workshop can lead to a deeper involvement with yogic practice through special individual attention sessions with Sujit and Devi. About Devi and Sujit: Devi is a Certified Yoga Therapist and Yoga Instructor from The Indian Yoga Institute and Vivekananada Kendra Yoga Research Institute and Therapy Centre, Bangalore. This internationally acclaimed therapy centre is the only yoga institute to have university status in India. She is currently Consultant Yoga Therapist to the Manipal Goa Cancer & General Hospital. Devi has also worked with Reuters TV Moscow. Sujit is a graduate in Yoga instruction from the Vivekananada Kendra Yoga Research Institute and Therapy Centre, Bangalore.
