If "famil" were of the masculine or neuter gender, then "tujea familik"
would be alright. But, as (IMO at least) it is of the feminine gender, the
correct way to speak and write should be "tuje familik". But, if we use one
of  the "niz" Konkani terms for "famil", and bearing in mind that one
belongs to the neuter gender and the other to the masculine gender, it would
be appropriate to say "tujea kuttumbak" (neuter) or "tujea ghorabeak"
(masculine). Note however that "famil" is also listed in the recently
published dictionaries (2-vol. Konkani-English by Suresh Borkar, Mukesh
Thali and Damodar Ghanekar and one-vol. English-Konkani by Prakash Thali,
edited by Damodar Ghanekar).
