I have heard, that the rape case against three Goan youth, who worked on a cruise ship has collapsed and the only outstanding charge against them now is one of molestation.
In the meantime these youth had been languishing in jail for a considerable period of time. When women or girls bring a rape accusation they should not do so flippantly. Rape is a very serious offence and rightly so. Women's groups and the Police please take note. I hope that the case against the youth in Goa will not be a sham, if there is evidence bring it out if not throw out the case. Cheers.
