What Mr.Nagesh Bhatcar calls "Vottelaon" and others call "Hortelao" is not Pudina or Mint (Mentha spp).It is a Coleus (Coleus spp) that is used for treatment of coughs and colds,besides bing used to make bajias.
Mint has very thin/fine leaves and is use for chutneys and as flavouring agent.
