Hi Gabe, You are probably going to get more accurate information from the rest of the Goa netters but the creeper that you are talking about is 'Vauchi baji'. I remember it being used in lentil soup and on my last visit to Goa I ate the corn dish that you wrote about at my neighbors. I am trying to grow curry patha at home too - my husband brought it from a Hare Krishna temple in Miami where it flourishes.
