----------------------------------------------------- Assembly session likely to be stormy ----------------------------------------------------- The ensuing session of the Goa legislative assembly from 29 September, though a short four-day affair, is likely to be an eventful one in the wake of the outbreak of viral hepatitis and the dust kicked up over the EDC white paper.
More than 600 questions have been tabled and there will be a discussion on some important issues. An amendment (eight) to the Goa Panchayati Raj Act and a few other legislations are likely to be tabled during the session.
A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee was held to discuss the business to be transacted.
