It would be good to learn more about "the example of St Francis Xavier who
made the effort to learn Konkani though he was a Spaniard". Can anybody
throw light and give examples of St. Francis Xavier's "effort to learn
Konkani"?  - And, while speaking about the Konkani language, the correct way
of writing the above sentence would be "Konknni xikunk zai, ulounk zai".7
