Goanet meets in Goa: December 27, 12 noon and January 7, 4 pm (meeting point: Kala
Academy canteen). See you there!

"Konkani xikunk zai, ulounk zai"

or

"Konknni bhas xikunk zai, ulounk zai"

I prefer to write as above, as "Konkani" is a proper noun and "bhas"
(language) is a noun
where as "Konknni" is an adjective. example: 'Konknni bhas', 'Konknni
pustok'

Valuable comments are welcome please.

It would be good to learn more about "the example of St Francis Xavier who
made the effort to learn Konkani though he was a Spaniard". Can anybody
throw light and give examples of St. Francis Xavier's "effort to learn
Konkani"? - And, while speaking about the Konkani language, the correct way
of writing the above sentence would be "Konknni xikunk zai, ulounk zai".7
