At least our cities  --  written in Devnagari or English  or local script --
pronounce
almost the same as the colloquial usage  --  but visit England  --

STREATHAM  is  pronounced STRATHAM
BERKSHIRE is pronounced BARKSHIRE
WORCHESTERSHIRE is pronounced WOOSTER
