If nurse training at Navelim College is of a good standard, there is a gold mine abroad, and especially in the USA, for well qualified nurses. Some one million will be recruited there over the next decade or so and their earning potential is excellent. The USA is even recruiting aggressively from the UK, other parts of Europe, China the Phillipines etc. This is just a factual note for those who may not know about the potential. However, there are rackets in operation whereby agents take their substantial cut to grease the passage. Consequently, individual efforts to make the move abroad, in nursing, face a brick wall however well qualified. Cornel
