Dave, it's got nothing to do with race, and everything to do with
nationality. You're more than welcome to switch nationalities. The package
deal would bring you lower airfares, global-level petroleum prices, and
(if you're based in South Asia, like most of us) salaries at about
one-tenth Western levels. You probably also won't get visas to Western
countries that easily then ... or will you?

Imagine my surprise when taking a trip to Mumbai I found that my
airfare was twice that of my Indian colleague. I paid RS7500 and he
Rs3500. My seat was next to his so why. Is this a racist policy being
applied to white foreigners based on the fact that we do not live in
India.
It got worse as my Indian friend was able to visit Elephanta island
caves for Rs10 when I had to pay Rs250. Now that is discrimination.
It is not that I can not afford the additional costs It is a matter of
principle
