How else could a guy like Jamir rule Goa? Well, he tried to be a Kingmaker
but has himself turned out to be the King! I had heard that the primary reason
for his being made the Governor of Goa, was that he was not wanted in Nagaland!
Now, Goans not only have a bhailo (outsider) ruling them, but also the Chief Secretary
and all other Secretaries and Police Chief are outsiders! Perhaps 452 years of
Portuguese rule was not enough.
