Dear Jose, If you are as devout Catholic as I am, you should accept the Bible teachings and there are atleast two references to the death penalty:
1. Numbers 35:31 If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death... .Moreover you shall accept no ransom for the life of the murderer, who is guilty of death; but he shall be put to death. 2. Deuteronomy 19:21 Your eye shall not pity; it shall be life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. You cannot claim to be a Catholic, a Christian and ignore these biblical references in support of the death penalty and implicitly encourage the Indian authorities to let Amit Shukla, Manish Dubey and cousin Brutal Britto go scot free after committing heinous murders - with all due respect to your "Aao Portugues, Ami EEU" podhi and patrade. and supercillious attitude towards those Goans who really care and are concerned about the greater good of our beloved Goa.
