Nasci guesses:
Japan was probably chosen instead of Germany or Italy
because the Europeans never attacked USA territory;
but the Japs attacked 'Pearl Harbour' USA Territory
first, and brought USA directly into the War, and the
Americans had already lost a lot of lives in the
Pacific Theatre and not as many in Europe!
How much more biased and bigoted can you be, Radha,
just by posing this question?
Do you think that the Japanese were some 'innocent'
gals, spreading their benevolence, at the time??
When I had the opportunity to visit 'The Hiroshima
Memorial Park' I wrote thus in the visitors' Book:
"War is always to be avoided 'cause of the
consequences. People should remember that War always
boomerangs on those who are aggressors in the first
place. Give 'Peace' a chance!"
