If you're referring to the Second World War, it lasted six years --
from 1939 to 1945. It was the First World War that lasted four years,
from 1914 to 1918.
200,000 "enemy lives"? Whose enemy? Were those innocent women and
children your enemies? Have you ever heard of "Hiroshima Maidens" --
the unfortunate, disfigured women survivors of that dastardly attack
who led a wretched life? Btw, any guesses why Japan was chosen for the
'honour' of tasting the atom bombs (not exactly nuclear ones), instead
of the more dominant Axis powers Germany or Italy?
