Roland Francis captured the essense of the Goan society in Dhobitalao. Notwithstanding his error in called Vienna "Venice", he brings out the ambience of this little hotel that is no more. My favourite dish here was Potato Chop. It was delicious. The very thought of it brought me to this restaurant from very far. After Mass, I often joined some friends for chai and paties at C. D'Souza. I am not sure if the restaurant is still there. But with time, it too may disappear like many other notable Goan eateries.
