Hi Gilbert, I am disappointed that you decided to go back on your word of responding to my questions, that too, with a very flimsy excuse. I have gone through your other posts regarding your views about "relations with other individuals". It is because of those intolerent views (benign or not, legal or illegal) against atheists, smokers, homosexuals and divorcees that I have given you an opportunity to redeem yourself, but you unintelligently declined.
Although I have no interest in prolonging the battle between the theists & atheists, my only hope is that you understand the basic fact that Atheists are not necessarily immoral people or not even MORE INCLINED to be so. You probably grew up with the notion that "Atheist" and "Evil" are synonymous, but its about time that you come out of that primitive thinking. At least I hope I stimulated you to think independantly, even if your religious authorities reject homosexuals, smokers, divorcee's and atheists, when in fact, they are not hurting anybody else if they take the necessary precautions. So who is it in your "camp" that is tolerant of non-Christians, Agnostics and Atheists? Mario? JC? Nasci? You? Peter? Why is it that your camp is so desperately trying to prove that Hitler was an atheist? Can there not be any Christianofascists? Let's see, your camp say's there are Islamofascists, Hindu rioter's (not to forget pagan's in the derogatory sense), brutal Atheist dictators, but NOOOO!! Christians cannot commit crime!!! After all, you'll do have the Rock solid CHRISTIAN moral code, right? Your "camp" should form a commision to prove that Ryan Pinto was an Atheist. (or MORE INCLINED to be one) The definition of a Bigot is: A person who is intolerant about anothers beliefs/opinions. Most of the people in your "camp" exhibit this characteristic when it comes to non-Christians, Agnostics and Atheists, Left wingers (except perhaps Peter). You'll believe there's only black and white -"either your with us or with 'em!", no in-betweens, no grey areas. You'll may think that your belief's are supreme, and that is fine, but do not impose those belief's on others or ridicule/belittle (i.e., show intolerence to) other's INNOCUOUS belief's. And by the way, I never repudiated Santosh's "outrageous language" in my first post on this thread, as there was none to repudiate. It is clear that you badly failed Satire 101 in school. (BTW, Satire 101 is not a real subject, it is a jocular way of saying that you cannot recognise satire). I have great respect for Santosh, and the rest of the gang, as they have EARNED it. It does not mean that I will never repudiate his comments or those of the rest of the gang; I will do so if I feel the need to do so (unlike when none from your "camp" felt it necessary to repudiate the "Enlightened Christian" when he proclaimed himself as one). This is my last post on this thread and this subject. Even if one from your "camp" tries to distort my views, I will not bother, as I know that the tolerent Goanetters (silent or active) will understand what I am trying to say.
