media (in Goa) regularly check out? Is there any evidence of mainstream
thinking being changed by online media (aside from the fight about the
plastic bag ban in Vasco mentioned in the article)? The online media in Goa
have been around for a dozen years. Are they just "closed minded" talk
shops, a sophisticated variant of computer games, or are they able at least
in a small way to shape public opinion, in a durable way, in Goa at large.
Then I, for one, would salute Goa's online media, with vigour.
