To echo Merwyn's concern we need to "clean" up Goanet. He has put the onus on the moderators, but we are all responsible. Goanet was a robust forum those days and Cornel did engage himself in a verbal duel, "gated" or not. I too had a little running battle with him regarding the Goan Convention in Toronto. I was looking at it from my point of view and he from his. But we agreed to disagree. Unlike some posts I wrote regarding the Goan Convention in London which got some knickers into a twist. Nowdays in India, the :"khaki cheddis" are getting twisted with comments on the BJP on social forums. Things change, some for the better and some for the worse. It must be now named "zorri", where women used to go to wash the "dirty linen" in olden times. Even this "trait" has gone like the good old tinto. Now bars are the places "in-thing.".
