Further to "Corruption post 61" Mr. Bernado I read you're posting to Goa Net under title "Corruption post 61" just for your information, I'm born during Portuguese regime in 1954 in Margao – Goa and also brought up in Margao - Goa. I don't know about you! I have seen and could write volumes on each and every individual politicians of Goa since 1961.
On the issue raised by you, Bernado now a days it has become a trend to elect "lesser of evils" going by this theory and applying it retrospectively to Goa's history, one will have to say that "the first ruling party of Goa MGP including all other ruling parties of Goa that includes BJP and Congress Party gave comparatively good governance" till 2004 end. But after 2004 when congress party took over Goa's control this party is seen engaged only in corruptions and nothing else. What annoy Goans are the rampant corruptions of congress party in Goa for past two years with zero development. Today's congress party has outwitted their own past 10-15 years of corruption records. This is the fact and reality and there cannot be second opinion on this. As regards, your second point "Bharat Government" has introduced corruption in Goa. This is your wrong statement. I would define corruptions as "corruption is a shadow that follows you wherever you go. What differs is the intensity of darkness of the shadow which depends on the intensity of the light one is exposed" In this same context, corruption was there during Portuguese regime in Goa and continues to be there even when Goa has become part of India. Like wise, corruption is also there in USA, EU countries, and in all parts of the world – all that differs from country to country is the degree or percentage of corruption which depends on many factors – but corruption is there. By saying "Corruption was implemented by Bharat Government" you are only pronouncing or showing your hatred towards Bharat, towards India. You might have strong reasons to spell out your hatred towards India (Bharat!) but definitely your belief for hating India, hating Bharat cannot be corruption, for it's a universal fact. Bernado, can you run away from your own shadow – I doubt. Dr. U. G. Barad Margao - Goa
