I'm no political theorist or ideologue, nothing more than a plain-vanilla
citizen, but I can't help thinking that if the system which is held up as an
example to others can elect a person like Donald Trump as its main man, then it
is a major fault-line, an omen that can bode no good tidings.

Many predictions of doom and gloom in the media may not come to pass for one of
two reasons:

A) He will be impeached
B) He will feed into the corrupt insider network that he vowed to bring down, a
kind of George Bush or Hilary Clinton multiplied many times over.

But one thing is sure. Trump must go and America will need to work harder than
ever to sweep up the mess he leaves.
