I fully agree with Gabe Menezes and Maya Nagvenkar that the filing of charges against Volvoikar is an assault at the ramparts of democracy.
The real tragedy here is that the Police have meekly agreed to proceed when in fact they should have out-of-hand thrown out the attempt to silence any reporter for such a reason.
