A couple of cousins in the UK whilst doing research their family tree
came across the term "baaz to-doop"...its the way middle class women
dressed at the turn of the century or earlier. Never heard of this and
wondering anyone is in the know of this.

look (not sure this is the way they dressed "baaz to-doop" or "baaz
to-dop" (this is the best I could do in terms of how the word/term
sounds).
