Kamlakash, Bhandare,

I dont have double standards. I am a straight arrow. In fact I am very
proficient in Marathi. I always bagged the special prize for Marathi in St.
Stanislaus High School, Bandra, Bombay beating out native Marathi Speakers -
Maharashtrains and East Indian Catholics in the process. It was the only
subject that sounded like my native Konkani and I excelled in it. As a
Bombay boy, I even represented Bombay in the Junior National Hockey
Championships and we even yak-yaked in Marathi on the field so that the
other states like Goa, Punjab, Haryana, Orissa could not understand us.
However my only contention is that when in Goa, we Kokne and Christao
should all talk Konkani. At National Soccer or Hockey Tournaments it will
help since it is distinctively different from Marathi. Konkani-cho Mog
Asundi !!

RESPONSE: I think you are referring to Dr. Carmo and like minded people.

I request you Pravin not to misunderstand me. Even I don't like people
having double standards in any regard like Dr. Carmo.

Regards,

Kamalaksh
