Elvis Gomes, the City Commissioner of Panjim, was summarily transferred out
of the CCP yesterday. His shortcoming in this regime of criminals was that
he did his job well and with integrity. Per newspaper reports the coup de
grace was conceived and delivered by Babush Monserrate through his
designated passel of thugs within the CCP.
Gomes's departure paves the way for Panjim to become a ghati haven presided
over by Godfather Monserrate.
Although not part of the team in power, Monserrate wields enormous
influence. No Congresswallah will dare raise even a whisper of protest for
he has in his possession the history of all the fingerprints in the cookie
jar. It should redound to Manohar Parrikar's eternal shame that he
considered a coalition in July 2007 with this Narkasur.
