Under the caste system wouldn't it be "kal ka RAMU az
ka RAMU".
=====
And what is wrong with that?
Kal ka Ramu will always remain a RAMU, money does not equate education and/or
culture.
A Brahmin Pandit will teach his son to do the rituals, therefore RAMLALS will
remain RAMLALS, no matter what.
RAMU will never be able to do what RAMLAL does, but a RAMLAL can do what RAMU
does, so the Caste system RULES.
The Catholics have done away with the Caste system (so they say) because the
people in white robes could be educated from any caste, to don the robe.
Fair enough, men in white robes can be of any caste, that does not mean the
people in white robes can change Indian culture wearing the ITALIAN Religion's
Robes.
People in white robes in Vatican cannot change the culture in India, the
Indians have to do it themselves. If an Indian has qualms about RAMU making
himself RAMLAL out of ill-gotten gains and illiterate unscrupulous behaviour,
Ramu WILL always remain Ramu in their eyes.
