A secular education in a secular country, adheres to
the curriculum set by the National Board of Education.
It is devoid of all and any religious references.
A faith-based school, will in addition to the national
curriculum, incorporate their own syllabus which
ofttimes includes religious references,
pseudo-scientific ideas (such as Intelligent Design),
religious history, religious cultural activities (such
as celebration of Christmas, Hanukkah, etc), and
appoints itself the guardian of a person's spiritual
consciousness.
