Folks,
I guess different countries have different ways of dealing with their wildlife. 
 
 
Here in Canada, they usually tranquilize the animal, put a collar on it and 
release it into the wild. The collar has a radio transmitter which allows the 
authorities to track the animal for two years. After that the collar 
automatically drops off.
 
 
I do not know what the norm is in India, but this is the first time I have 
heard of a trapper 'sacking' a trapped animal. And that too without bothering 
to tranquilizing it. However, I sure am glad that Amrut Singh & co did not try 
and garland the animal.
 
 
For those interested, Mozambique has a more interesting way of dealing with 
wild animals. It involves garlanding the humans instead. Here is the link.
