I had this premonition that someone would propose a Goanet Bachao Abhiyan one of these days. Are my anticipations coming true? What could be a good purpose for the abhiyan? Stepping up criticism of all politicians, but stopping it against one? Doing a white-wash job on the Curchorem communal frenzy?
BTW, are there equivalent words for "Bachao" and "Abhiyan" in the Konkani language (whatever script, whatever dialect) and the language(s) that pre-dated the existence of Konkani in Goa?
