There was a time, in my mis-spent youth, when I read every edition of Punch.
They had some great stuff there. It helped that everyone read the magazine for
satire in its purest form. Having said that, I will add that net groups is the
wrong place for satirical notes. I have learnt this the hard way.
I still have a difficult time understanding some writers on Goanet. However,
when I get to meet them in person, I realized that these people use
satirical/sarcastic words all the time to get their point across. These
satirical words are hard for me to catch when a new writer uses them. I am glad
you cleared this matter.
