Louise Assuming you are not in India at this time, I would try a site called www.yourmaninindia.com - one of the services they provide is applying for and obtaining birth certificates on your behalf and from what I understand , you dont even have to be in india for this . i tried going to the site and it seems to be down at the moment - maybe its under maintenance at this time.. but from what i know, the site is owned and operated by a well know company - and im sure their site should be up and running soon.. good luck - hope you get the birth certificate and pio card ! --------------------------------------------
