Hi Joe, It is none of those. The word is a Portuguese word, not Konkani. And the correct spelling is: Teatro. "Teatrista" is the so called teatro actor. Konkani speakers have the habit of omitting the last vowel. That is why they sometimes say teatr rather than teatro. Best Paulo.
