And what do the freedom fighters got to show us Goans rather than collecting
their pension cheques , asking for govt jobs for their next of kins, and
blackening of Portuguese road name plaques? and showing-off their huge
ignorance about the modern world with their canned brains with the hate for
the Portuguese, where Portuguese themselves were the victims?
These ilk of Goa's spurious freedom fighters should be banished from the
Goan soil once and for all. We shall do it if given half a chance (goasuraj)
One of them is Naguesh Karmali.
I have personally openly challenged his holding the directorship of TB Cunha
Institution in Panjim (where he was present) and have suggested that he be
thrown out since he was a blot on TB Cunha's face because he was the
mastermind of the Fontainhas mess-up. He had no guts to respond to my
charges. And this darpook has fought for GOA??? when he could not defend
himself in his own house?
I understand Sam talking in favour of FFs because he is the son of the FF.
But Goa needs to cull real FFs from the fake ones ( like Karmali) and denude
them of all the past privileges given at the cost of us, the tax payers.
GOA will have and will maintain good relations with Portugal whether these
blind, closed, senile so called Goa's Freedom fighters like it or not. The
onus is on the real FFs (if they exist) to salvage their honour by
de-associating themselves from these loud mouth pariahs.
Note: Maria Aurora Couto was present at the TB Cunha Hall when I tore
Karmali to pieces publicly. Her article appears on this week's 'NT Panorama
captioned "GOA & PORTUGAL -- Looking Ahead ". Goans must read this to know
and recognize the closed mindset of the pariah FFs who make placard noises
to authenticate their pensions.
And when Sam asks: "Does Portugal count in today's world first of all ?" my
qualified response is 'Yes' very much and any time, face to face with
today's India whose leadership has no backbone to stop innocent people
