Subject: [Goanet] The opposition from the freedom fighters

Yes, OK, I was born a Portuguese slave.
What about you? In exactly the same terms, you were born an Indian slave.

Isn't that sad?

We are both Goans but we are both born slaves of two other countries.

Sad indeed as Goa remains conquered now as it was pre-1961.

In 1961 we had intelligent people capable to make a difference and to govern
an independent Goa.

But both Portugal and India betrayed our Goan people and our true Freedom
Fighters.

Slowly, betrayed and frustrated, these people left our motherland and are
now spread throughout the world.

Today, we have ministers making a complete mess of true governance and
politics and getting richer and richer whilst the poorer get poorer and
poorer.

In Sadness from a Goan slave to another!
