Santosh: One ought to be seriously concerned whether Times of India editors injected their own partisanship and ideology into Julio Ribeiro's article by providing a politically sensational title and adding more than a paragraph infusing electoral politics into his text. It is really sad to see a tribute to a fallen hero being sullied by such cheap political propaganda, and I doubt a dignified person like Julio Ribeiro would ever do such a thing. Response: The article appeared in the Times of India on 28.11.2008. Till date there has been no disclaimer from Mr Ribeiro that the said paragraph was not written by him. Do we then conclude that "Mr Ribeiro has injected his own partisanship and ideology into his article by infusing electoral politics into his text' as insinuated by Santosh? And do we also believe as Santosh suggests that Mr Ribeiro has indulged in cheap political propaganda and sullied the tribute to a fallen hero? How I wish people would exercise some discretion before jumping to pre-determined conclusions and tarnishing the image of others.
