I concede that the BJP is blatant. But are you suggesting the Congress
doesn't play such games?
Response:
I have never suggested any such thing. I am aware of the games the Congress
plays. However, what worries me is hate agendas. Look at the demands made at
the meeting - ban on slaughter of cows (targetted mainly at the muslims as
the christians in Goa are mostly fish eaters), ban on conversion ( targetted
at christians although conversion has never been an issue), compulsory
singing of vande mataram ( targetted at muslims), stopping haj subsidies
(again targetted at muslims. BTW the subsidy was increased during BJP rule).
Augusto Pinto also made an interesting observation that most of the crowd
came in trucks bearing number plates of AP, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala.
Why are outsiders creating problems in Goa.
