We are pleased to inform you that our annual “World Goa Day” Dinner Dance will
be celebrated on Saturday 22 August 2009at the Springvale City Hall ,
Springvale.
World Goa Day is celebrated in many countries and in Melbourne this is our 7th
year where people of Goa and their relatives and friends meet to catch up and
even make new friends! Apart from the nostalgia and a great spread of food that
night, we have booked an eight piece live band “Soul Mates” led by our very own
Goan, Mr. Joe Fernandes.
The event is well known in Melbourne and in fact we were informed that we have
had people from other organisations last year who came to see how we operate
and carried away ideas for their events early this year. Our events have known
to become ‘show pieces’ of integration where all interact in the most
harmonious manner in social activities of singing, dancing and dining. In
addition we will also have a surprise floor show during the event.
Kindly mark 22 August 2009 on your calendar and come along with your family and
friends to enjoy this auspicious day!
This event is open to all in our multicultural Victoria . Kindly pass on a copy
of this flyer to your circle of friends.
Early bookings are encouraged as many in the past have been disappointed for
leaving them at the last moment.
