I didn't read the original comments by the Swindon Goan but would just like to
add that they are a hardworking lot and have been severely affected by the
current recession. There are reports in the UK that the Poles working in
Swindon have returned to Poland as have some of the Swindon Goans but the vast
majority of them are digging in their heels and staying on.
I would say Goans in the UK should band together and help the Swindon Goans but
the situation is such that everyone is hit badly by the recession and at the
moment at least it is probably each man for himself.
