Thank you Viviana for bearing with us and letting us know that you too survived Cancer in Goa.

As Fr. Ivo has admitted that he has started this topic, I thank Fr. Ivo for his concerns for Goans who are suffering from Cancer. As humans we all wish well for others specially when one comes across such cases and will not discourage them saying cancer is incurable but will surely give them hope and good words and I belive Fr. Ivo being a priest is always there to help them and give them courage and words of hope.

This being my last post on this topic and being an ignoramus on cancer
but surely not so ignoramus as not knowing what I have gone thru with the two patients whose bedside I was
in Tata Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital and Bombay Hospital.

Mervyn...you said in one of your post that even after free check up is available in Canada many of them do not avail..Do you think they will do so when they have to pay every peny in India? Even well to do Indians will never go for a annual checkup. The latest news in Bollywood is of Lisa Ray a young model (http://lisaraniray.wordpress.com/ )who is suffering for multiple Myeloma which is said to be incurable... but yet she has been brave and fighting this cancer. She has her support from her fans and simpletons like me.

Santosh bab has tells us that all common Cancers can be cured in Goa..I wish he had given us the name of the Hospital and the Doctors, so that Goans know where to go...instead of making a dash to Bombay...he also gives us his eg of his grandmother...but does not know if it was detected in the intial stages or last stage. I also have a neighbour who survived breast cancer way back in the 60's and survived. I also have a close relative in Mumbai who has breast cancer but on final stage..presently going on medications. She depends on medicines n prayers
from family n friends and faith in Jesus Christ.

Jane also tells us about her mother, who visits Bombay for checkup..I dont know why her mom shud be coming for a checkup in Mumbai if the same is available in Goa..probably she knows bombay is the best.

And atlast we have Dr. Anil Desai who tells us that he has been operating cancer patients from 85 but does not tell us where he operates....and his this post comes after a gap of months and all that he has said is about Fr. Ivo being ignormaus. Pls note Dr. Anil has not participated in this debate before but he directly attacks Fr. Ivo..goanetters will surely guess why!

Why do they hide this IMPORTANT INFORMATION of cancer being cured in Goa to GOANETTERS?

I end this post with a humble Request to Goan Doctors who think they are specialists and who have friends in Goa to let us know the name of Doctors, their postions, the names of Hospitals in Goa, Mumbai or anywhere in India ..so that whenever Goans need help or advise, they should be there in time of need!

Thank you for your energetic participation in the recent debate surrounding cancer therapies and whether cancer is ever curable. We've heard from, at least, a Scientist, a Religious, a few MD's as well as a others, on this interesting and important topic which affects Goans everywhere. We on the Admin Team feel that the time has come to close this particular thread. Please send in any final comments you might have within the next 24 hours.
