Oats: The word 'churmulyeo' does not mean Oats. Churmulyeo is puffed rice. I do not think there is a Konkani word for Oats as this is not a crop grown in the Indian sub continent. Russia and Canada are the worlds largest Oats growers. There have been cases of crop trials in India, but it has never caught on: the climate is just not right. Maybe someone can coin a Konkani word and take credit. Salus
