Dear Venantius,
     Kurmuleo and arroz tufado are the Konkani and Portuguese names for puffed 
rice. Oats is something quite different. I found this tortured definition of 
oats in an English-Konkani Pronouncing Dictionary published by Asia Educational 
Services in New Delhi:
 
Oat, Danneanchem zadd, jem vortouta chodd adauvachem tachea dannea vo orouva 
passot.

Nachne/Nasne/Nachni (Ragi, Marathi, Kannada) = Millet. In Goa used to make
pole, ambil (yeaah), bhakri/bhakor.
