re: The Mickey Mouse affair Assuming that the media information available over the past 72 hours is the truth, the pertinent question is: Is it the Whole Truth?
There are more than a few missing links: a: Did the doctors in the 1st hospital make a record of the bruises ....or did the bruises appear only later? b: If they made a record of the bruises, did they XRay the patient? c: Did (any of ) the doctors eventually CT Scan the patient? d: Did they notice any abnormalities - as reportedly described as post-mortem findings? e: If all this was reported by the doctors ...could Micky or Minnie or even Pluto (the driver) not have been taken in custody early in this tragic fiasco? f: Did the unwarranted focus on the 'affair' distract attention from the main problem? is not the main problem one of a criminal act as in 'assault' and resultant homicide? e: If the body was initially released for burial .....what did the First post-mortem state?. I would put ALL the attending doctors on the stand and cross-examine their evidence. If there is a canary, it is not too difficult to make that canary sing. Losing or 'curing' patient notes is never a good idea. The problems which lurk are as follows: 1: If the bruises were noted ante-mortem, WHY were the police not called immediately? Could the 'crime scene' not have been sealed at that time? 2: If the bruises were noted at post-mortem - which post-mortem were they noted at? 3: If they were not noted while the patient was alive ....nor at the time of the first post-mortem, we have a very interesting situation. BTW: Has Auda reported the threat to the police yet? jc
